Owned by Houston-based entrepreneur George Joseph, the brand has garnered legions of loyal customers for its house made sweets, casual savory fare and playful, communal setting, will occupy 4,289 square feet with a spacious patio on the ground floor of CityPlace 1. Located at 1700 City Plaza Drive, Spring, TX 77389, Common Bond’s fifth restaurant will be ideally situated across from waterfront CityPlace Park and the development’s programmed central plaza and green.

According to LUCID founder Lisa Pope Westerman, “Common Bond Bistro & Bakery at CityPlace was specially tailored to its setting and the unique needs of the area. While the brand will still resonate with familiarity – including the signature striped boxes and industrial chic vibe – this new location is a cousin to the original. The interiors include a more expansive happy-hour-ready beer and wine bar and a lux outdoor patio for dining morning, noon and night.”
