Woodlands Happy Hour: Mondays at 403 Eats

Monday is a tough day to find great food. But at Tomball’s 403 Eats, there’s a very special Monday happy hour. We check it out.

Monday can be a difficult day to find a great meal. Many restaurants choose to close on Monday, to give their hardworking staff a day off. While we applaud this, it can be frustrating as diners in search of something delicious.

Fortunately, 403 Eats, the food truck park in Tomball, has a solution.

For those of you who haven’t visited, 403 Eats is an immaculate food truck park located east Main Street in Tomball. It’s about 10 minutes from the back of the Woodlands, so it’s easily accessed from our area. Driving up, you notice a warm, inviting park, with plenty of seating paved walkways, and even an Astroturf play area for kids. This is not the muddy mess you can often find at other food parks.

But a food truck park is all about the trucks. And 403 Eats has a nice selection of trucks, all with long-term commitments. You won’t drive out and find your favorite mysteriously missing. You’ll find hot dogs and carnival food, burritos and Tex-Mex, latin American cuisine, and even Transylvanian specialties.

The trucks offer a very nice variety of well priced food, but for Monday Happy Hour, they pull out all the stops. Each truck offers a selection of items for $5… a bargain. And adult beverages (available at the very stylish central building, complete with a wrap-around porch) are also well priced. These specials run all day on Monday.

The result is a fantastic way to enjoy good food, good drinks, and a beautiful day, all without breaking the bank. We observed families, couples, and small groups enjoying the beautiful outdoor setting, and devouring delicious-looking plates of food. Specific food offerings are subject to change, but we’d be surprised if you couldn’t find several things you want to sample at 403 Eats.
