The Woodlands, Texas (June 21, 2022) — Cary Attar and Chef Edel Gonçalves hosted a curated wine dinner highlighting the wines of California’s Jordan Winery. The assembled guests enjoyed Chef Edel’s modern take on classic cuisine, and tasted Jordan’s excellent chardonnay and two of their superb cabernet sauvignons. A highly exclusive Jordan champagne (not available outside the winery) and a stunning Penfold’s port were also poured.
Chef Edel’s menu (view menu) was created to compliment the presented portfolio of wines. As always, the creativity and technique were on point; the chef’s pairings were beautifully conceived to bring out the flavors of both the food and the wine.
Wine experts were on hand from Jordan and Fielding’s to address any guest questions and facilitate this outstanding meal.
The assembled guests greatly enjoyed this experience. Fielding’s Local wine dinners are presented on a regular basis, and feature the creations of some of the world’s finest wineries, paired with a unique menu created and excited by Chef Edel and the Fielding’s culinary team.
