On a recent trip down Gosling Road, we noticed a sign for “Ember & Vine” placed on the building that used to house the Butler House. It appears that the Butler House is no more, but a new concept will be coming to take its place. Our sources anticipate a cigar room and a wine bar, along with some sort of food operations.
In August 2024, The Butler House, a dining establishment located on Gosling Road just south of The Woodlands, announced its temporary closure for remodeling. Co-founders Bryan and Marina Frenchak shared their vision to revamp the restaurant, aiming to introduce a “cool new vibe” to their loyal patrons. This decision came after the restaurant navigated challenges such as local construction projects and Hurricane Beryl. The announcement was made with optimism, expressing intentions to reopen within a few weeks.
Following the closure announcement, the anticipated reopening did not materialize as initially planned. As of March 2025, there has been no official confirmation regarding the rebranding of The Butler House as Ember & Vine. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
