P. Terry’s Burger Stand, a popular Austin-based chain, is set to open its second Houston-area location on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 20255 Champion Forest Drive in Spring. The restaurant will operate from 7 a.m. to midnight, offering a menu that includes customizable hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, breakfast items like bacon and egg sandwiches, and ice cream shakes. Prices are affordable, with a single patty hamburger starting at $3.10 and a double cheeseburger priced at $5.25.

This expansion follows the opening of P. Terry’s first Houston-area location in Richmond on October 16, 2024, which marked the chain’s first venture outside Central Texas. According to Vice President Monty Montgomery, the strategy to establish locations in suburban areas like Richmond and Spring was influenced by logistical considerations, as ingredients are shipped daily from Austin, and these suburbs are within a manageable three-hour drive.
Further growth in the Houston market is planned, with a third location slated for the Bridgeland Central retail center in Cypress. This upcoming site will feature an indoor dining room and a double drive-thru, with construction expected to begin in 2025. Other tenants anticipated in the Bridgeland Central development include Jonathan’s The Rub, Sweet Paris Creperie, and Crust Pizza Co., all projected to open sometime in 2025.
P. Terry’s emphasizes the use of fresh, quality ingredients, such as 100% Black Angus beef without hormones and antibiotics, hand-cut Idaho Burbank potatoes cooked only in canola oil, hand-spun milkshakes, and freshly squeezed lemonade and orange juice.
The opening of the Spring location reflects P. Terry’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Houston area, bringing its affordable and customizable menu to a broader customer base.
