The latest independent restaurant to leave market street is Schilleci’s, the popular New Orleans-style restaurant that has been a local favorite for 15 years.
In a post on social media, they wrote:
After 15 wonderful years at Market Street, Schilleci’s New Orleans Kitchen is embarking on an exciting new chapter! While we bid a bittersweet farewell to our beloved home, we’re thrilled to announce our relocation to a beautiful new space, just a stone’s throw away.
Get ready to experience the same authentic Louisiana flavors and warm hospitality in an even more elegant setting. Stay tuned for details on our new address and grand opening! We can’t wait to welcome you.
