This Chicago import brings Superior Street cred to the Woodlands with the signature cornmeal crust and a casserole-like construction of cheese, sauce, and toppings. Illinois expats each have their favorite pizza joint, but all will agree that Gino’s East offers the best Chicago-style deep dish in the Woodlands.
If you’ve only enjoyed the more popular New York-style pizza, you’re in for a new experience. A slice feeds a typical appetite; two if you’re very hungry. Don’t be in a hurry; cooking a pizza this thick can take 45 minutes, so plan accordingly.
