After reading one too many “local guides” that featured lots of mediocre information, we realized that we could do a better job.
TWTX was created by a group of passionate, informed locals who live in the area and explore it in search of the best: The best food. The best drink. The best values. From fine dining to the latest out-of-the-way spot known only to locals, TWTX is your guide to the best the Woodlands has to offer. Our anonymous review panel is made up of writers, chefs, and members of the Woodlands Area Foodies group.
TWTX is published by Nurick + Associates, the Woodlands’ top web design firm, and the Woodlands Area Foodies, a discussion group composed of over 40,000 passionate food lovers in the Woodlands and Houston area.
Albert Nurick is an award-winning food blogger, the architect of several dining guides, and the founder of Woodlands Area Foodies, a food discussion group with over 35,000 members. He is an accomplished web designer who creates websites for restaurants, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
Susan Harris is an experienced editor who has edited numerous fiction books, nonfiction books, articles, websites, and annual reports. She recently relocated to Texas from North Carolina, and is starting to accept that barbecue can be made from beef.
An anonymous group of foodies, chefs, and writers
Our review panel is a carefully selected group of food enthusiasts chosen for their knowledge and discerning palates. They remain anonymous so they can explore the hospitality scene and dine without receiving special treatment from the restaurant.
