Adriatic Cafe Opens in the Woodlands

The Woodlands area has a new go-to for family-friendly Italian food in a comfortable setting. Adriatic Cafe has opened their doors in Shenandoah.

The cafe brings their take on Americanized Italian cuisine to the Woodlands, and we’re fans. A wide variety of pastas, pizzas, and Italian entrees heads up the menu; a deeper dive reveals a solid slate of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, calzones, and of course desserts.

Pasta lovers should start with the Pasta Sampler, which combines Lasagna, Manicotti, and Cheese Ravioli into one delicious dish. Vegetarians aren’t left out; the well executed Pasta Primavera is one of several options that satisfy a meat-free palate.

The setting is sparklingly clean, open, and inviting. A separate bar area is a nice spot to stop for happy hour after work. An alcove at the back of the main dining room provides a bit of privacy.

The location on the northbound feeder of I-45 (just north of the Sam Moon center) provides easy access and plenty of free parking.

We’ve been fans of the Adriatic Cafe for years. It brings the kind of Italian food that many of us grew up with to the Woodlands area. We’ll be back.
