Update: Baker Street Pub has removed the Woodlands location from their website.
Another long-time Woodlands favorite has announced that they’re closing. Baker Street Pub, the popular spot located at the Woodlands Waterway, has announced their closure. Baker Street has become a favorite destination for those looking for an adult beverage in a friendly, welcoming setting.
This is the second major closing announced in the Woodlands this week; Local Pour has also announced their closure.
Our thoughts go out to the owners and staff of Baker Street.
On the door of Baker Street, the following notice was posted by Howard Hughes Corporation, the landlord:
Sadly, the Howard Hughes Corporation, the largest landlord in the Woodlands, seems to be driving popular establishments out with their sky-high rents. Will this trend continue?
You should publish how the crooked landlord locked the doors on baker st because they were angry about losing $48k a month in rent with the closure of local pour and is attempting to hold baker street pub hostage demanding hundreds of thousands of dollars before they unlock the doors to baker street. THATS WHY ITS CLOSING!
