Another dessert spot, Surreal Creamery, the NYC-based dessert concept known for its signature mason jar shakes and bubble tea, and “floteas”, is coming to Shenandoah in 2023.
They’ll be located at 1500 Research Forest Drive, Ste. 175, near the Kolache Factory. The Shenandoah store will be the organization’s second location in Texas. Prince Eti and his daughter, Anita Eti, are the owners.
“We’re so excited for it,” said Anita Eti. “I think this is a really unique concept because obviously boba and bubble tea is so popular now and in Texas, when can you go wrong with ice cream? So, we’re very excited to bring it to people here.”
The spot specializes in soft-serve ice cream in Asian-inspired flavors such as matcha, taro and Vietnamese iced coffee, all of which are available in a cup or shake ($8.50) with toppings like chocolate syrup, cookie pieces, breakfast cereal, whipped cream and more. There’s also a Mason jar sundae made in a take-home Mason jar ($9.50).
Surreal Creamery offers bubble tea, as well, serving up bubble tea lattes, fruit teas and slushies in classic flavors like taro, matcha and mango, and finished with add-ons like tapioca pearls and swirls of soft-serve ice cream.
