Rise Soufflé, the popular Dallas-based restaurant specializing in soufflé and wine, is expected to open around the end of May, according to WAF member Cameron Achee, the executive chef of the new establishment.
Rise is the creation of Hedda Gioia Dowd, who opened the first Rise Soufflé location in Dallas in 2008. A second location currently operates in Fort Worth.
Rise is described as an intimate salon de soufflé and wine bar designed with French influence. Their relaxed bistro focuses on the soufflé—the masterpiece of French cuisine. Their approach is to turn something as simple as an egg into something as magnificent, yet unfussy, as the soufflé. rise is the first of its kind, bringing the French classic to our diners in a comfortable, casual environment.
Rise will debut in the Creekside Park West center, on Kuykendall near Creekside Forest Village Green. It will currently be the only Rise in the Houston area.
