UPDATE (Nov 8, 2021): Our friends at Community Impact have reported receiving confirmation from In-N-Out corporate about a new store being planned for the Woodlands. The location: 1717 Lake Woodlands Drive… the old Sweet Tomatoes site adjacent to the Woodlands Mall, as we reported back in June.

We have received word that California-based In-N-Out Burger is planning to open a store in the Woodlands. The Woodlands store will offer its signature burgers, shakes, and fries, including the popular “Animal Style” variations.
The store will be located adjacent to the Woodlands Mall, in the vicinity of the location previously occupied by Sweet Tomatoes. We expect significant changes to the physical location. We do not have word on a potential opening date; we will update this story when more information becomes available.
This puts it on the opposite side of the mall from Shake Shack, Danny Meyer’s New York based burger chain.
Founded in 1948, In-N-Out Burger is one of the most recognizable California restaurant brands. Their philosophy of serving only the highest quality product, prepared in a clean and environment, and served by friendly, well-trained associates, has created a loyal following. Unlike other burger chains, In-N-Out offers a tightly focused menu, consisting of burgers, fries, shakes, and soft drinks.
